Registration Counselor Jobs

A registration counselor examines and then accepts or rejects applications from those seeking to register profit and nonprofit corporations. A registration counselor assists and advises applicants with legal requirements relating to the preparation of applications, documents, and exhibits, in addition to performing other related duties as assigned. A registration counselor looks after billing issues and provides additional information to the appropriate account representative or manager, in addition to keeping a log of all in-patient self-pay accounts. A registration counselor is also responsible for providing academic and personal counseling and advice to students on an individual or group basis in workshops. Registration counselors also design and conduct student development workshops, assist with student orientations, counsel students with academic difficulties, and identify counseling materials for student use and professional development.
A registration counselor position requires a college degree and six months of work experience which involved the performance of clerical tasks with demonstrated knowledge of registration documents. A registration counselor should also be able to meet and deal effectively with the general public and operate common office appliances and equipment.
