\u003cp\u003eAs part of the Telecare family, the Riverside County Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is licensed as a 38-bed sub-acute residential program located in Riverside, CA. The program provides longer-term mental health recovery services 24/7/365 within a supportive, structured, and secure inpatient environment designed to help clients prepare to move to the community and/or lower levels of care.\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cp\u003ePOSITION SUMMARY\u003cbr /\u003ePeer Recovery Educators are responsible for planning, developing, organizing, delivering, and maintaining a robust recovery education monthly calendar of classes, activities and outings. They continually promote and reinforce Telecare\u0026rsquo;s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member\u0026rsquo;s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming.\u003c/p\u003e

\u003cp\u003eQUALIFICATIONS\u003cbr /\u003eRequired: \u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; High School Diploma or GED required\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Certified Peer Specialist and/or completed Peer Support Training\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Completion of an Adult Education Instructor course or completion within one (1) year of hire\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Experience teaching or facilitating adult learning\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Two (2) years\u0026rsquo; experience or part-time equivalent supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care\u003cbr /\u003e\u0026bull; Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
