Strategic Advisor - Mental Health at Work Learning Programs (6 month contract)
Who You'll Work With
Mind Matters is McKinsey & Company's internal mental health program aimed to advance the conversation on mental health and provide support for colleagues where and when they need it. Mind Matters provides access to high quality early intervention support and clinical resources and an environment free from stigma and taboo.
You will work directly with our global leadership of Mind Matters as well as our global leadership for learning including the Mind Matters dedicated learning lead. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with a team based in Europe, Middle East and US. You can work remotely from any location. This is a 6 month contract for 20 hours a week.
What You'll Do
You will provide strategic advisory and direct support to the Global Mind Matters team in developing learning journeys around mental health for different groups of McKinsey & Company colleagues.
In this role, you will create a cohesive Mental Health at Work learning strategy and journey for each of the different groups identified or assess and refresh current programs to amplify relative strengths and identify gaps. You will serve as an advisor in desired behavioral outcomes and the learning strategy to achieve desired behavioral outcomes per role/region. You will also help with the implementation plan on how to fill existing gaps including embedding new content into existing learning journeys and programs.
You will create learning materials to support new and existing learning journeys for live and digital learning modules as well as refresh existing content to reflect the latest thinking on mental health at work such as new points of contact (POC) training or digital partner learning. You will serve as a thought partner on approaches to getting colleagues access to additional education materials.
Finally, you will lead and facilitate training programs and train facilitators, POCs and colleagues to deliver learning programs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in education, social work or a related field is preferred
5 years of experience in organizational learning and development and mental health in the workplace
Extensive professional experience in creating, implementing and scaling training and development; experience in education program design and facilitation specifically in the context of mental health at work
Clinical experience as a psychologist, social worker or related role is preferred
Ability to act as a thought partner and pressure test proposed learning programs and solutions; ability to effectively leverage your experience as an educator in the mental health at work field to synthesize and impart crucial information to various audiences
Extensive professional international experience navigating global contexts and tailoring solutions to cultural contexts
Ability to handle extremely sensitive issues with ease and maintain the highest professional, ethical and confidentiality standards
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills tailored to stakeholder, audience and message; ability to communicate messages to senior executives
