Organization: Psychiatry Central Admin Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Performs diagnostic assessment and therapeutic treatments, including crisis intervention with some guidance. Maintains contact with family and community agencies and makes referrals. . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provides initial assessment and develops plan of care according to TN Department of Mental Health Best Practice Guidelines. * Provides targeted evidence based interventions into clinical practice with patients. * Acts as clinical liaison with patient, family, treatment team and community. * Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making. * The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned. TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES * Patient Assessment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient assessments in practical applications of moderate difficulty. * Clinical Counseling (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate clinical counseling in practical applications of moderate difficulty. * Patient Diagnosis (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate patient diagnosis in practical applications of moderate difficulty. * Peer Leadership (Fundamental Awareness): Works well with others. Is receptive to ideas and suggestions from team members. Meets with peers and others whenever necessary. Shares ideas and workload with members of the team.
